Let’s do this

A few months ago, I didn’t imagine I would be here—preparing to share a collection of my work with the intention of sending it out into the world.

What started as a quiet return to painting has slowly turned into something more meaningful. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just a hobby and became a part of how I experience and process the world around me.

I’ve always been drawn to wild places—especially the mountains. There’s something about the stillness they hold and the sense of scale that puts everything into perspective. I have turned to nature over and over again for answers, and it has always given me the truth. Painting has become a way of immersing myself in that stillness.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be at a point where I can spend hours working on something that genuinely lifts my spirits. That feeling—of being fully absorbed, of creating something with intention—is what I hope carries through in these pieces.

This is just the beginning, but it feels like the right place to start.
